So few receive so much...

The Australian government’s Senator Stephen Conroy decision to give TV stations a $250,000,000 tax cut is shameful and disturbing. Conroy has not produced any information on how he arrived at this figure and is seen by many as securing favours during an election year.

Tough advertising conditions and a commitment to Australian content are reasons quoted by the press. What a load of shit!

The TV stations are not the only business that “did it tough” during the GFC and tax payers, as well as every other business has a right for an explanation. This tax cut also comes before Ken Henry’s comprehensive review of the tax system which the government said it needs before announcing any tax relief.

This bloke just continues to astound me.

• The National Broadband Network blowout of 4.7 billion to 43 billion.
Internet censorship policy that makes us the laughing stock of the world.
• $450,000 job to a former labor party branch stacker - with no tender.
