Australia's best conference for online retailers

What's new in 2011?

We've got more content - and more range of topics covered - than ever before. In addition to some outstanding keynotes, we're running four streams across the two days, allowing you to customise your PeSA experience: You select the content that best suits your business needs.  

All eBay & PayPal stream - With content for both budding and new sellers through to larger and more established sellers.

Marketing & Social Media - How to get and keep customers, including search engine optimisation, email marketing, digital PR, Twitter, blogging, Facebook and video.

Online Retailing & Stores - Covering everything involved in running a successful online retail business, including multi-channel tools, automation, shipping, product sourcing, case studies and business growth & management strategies.

Fully interactive - Day 2 will feature a stream of live site & listing reviews, with experts evaluating what is successful and where improvements can be made.

We've also added a casual networking event at the conclusion of the conference, for some final networking opportunities. This is not a ticketed event, drinks are at bar prices.  

We'll be in Queensland for the very first time, at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. If you'll be travelling to the Gold Coast, check out our travel advice page for a selection of hotels, and serviced apartments, that are a short walk from the venue. We recommend staying Wed-Fri nights to make the most of your Conference experience.

I have set up a new brand, “Internet conference” to assist the PeSA Australia brand to be found via natural search. Internet Conference is easier to remember and is also valuable in terms of monthly searches on Google.

It will also provide the opportunity to grow our conference offering for our attendees. When I founded PeSA (Professional eBay Sellers Alliance) in Australia 5 years ago less than 10% of our attendee’s owned a website. Last year attendee’s reported a figure of 35%. I expect this figure to surpass 50% this year.

This year we are expanding our content to reflect the changing marketplace. This includes expanding our breakout sessions, offering content on SEO, Social media and ecommerce websites. The eBay marketplace remains our core focus for the conference, as we believe that it is the best platform for beginners and enterprise businesses to trade and brand.

Each year our focus is to deliver outstanding speakers, content and experience for our attendees, and this year’s conference will be no exception. If you trade on eBay or are contemplating opening an eBay store, then this is an absolute must for you to attend this year.
